Food Education Service
Despite a national obsession with watching cookery programmes we are facing rising obesity and
general poor diets due, at least in part, to a generation of people who have had limited opportunities to learn to cook.
Our team of graduate home economists include qualified food teachers and health education specialists with years of experience in teaching children to understand the principles of healthy eating. We have perfected the art of passing on the practical skills needed to put ingredients together to create nutritious and tasty dishes. These are transferable life skills that are so important for all ages, but when taught to children will stay with them for ever giving them a key to a healthy life. Creating 'food confident' children is our mission and one that we deliver through our practical cookery school and our food education service.
